Collaborations with old friends always make for magical events.

Certified legend Shona Graham keeps herself busy with the bustling and beautiful cafe Emmeline at Spike Island; joined-up, city-wide charity food work with Caring in Bristol & Cheers Drive; kind, nutritious and ethical festival catering with Team Canteen; and radical charity fundraising initiatives with The Anti-Banquet.

Ah-Ma’s founder and head-chef Anita Cheung has also had her work cut-out recently: founding a new prep-kitchen and small business incubator in St Werburghs; working on a not-so-secret restaurant project and keeping a brand new tiny little human alive!

Having bonded over their love of food, dance music culture, community and generally doing their best to be good bosses in business for both their staff and their customers, this is a collaboration that has been a long time coming!

Emmeline at Spike Island is the perfect place for fun, easy-going, social feasting and Anita will be serving up a range of homestyle Cantonese cusine including innovative takes on various classic dim sum dishes and some new arrivals straight from the test kitchen.

Food will be served to one long table on sharing platters encouraging conversation and collaboration in the spirit of the event.

Supplementary dishes will be available à la carte for the extra hungry or extra explorative.

Drinks menu and wine list will be presented in collaboration with the illustrious Josh Eggleton!

Booking Information

Tickets: This is a ticketed event. Once you have requested your booking we will send you an email with a payment link to purchase your tickets.

Arriving late/cancellation: Our plan is for the evening food service to be rolling and relaxed. Identifying the time you are planning to arrive will help us to prepare but we also understand that plans can change. In an attempt to create a sociable and celebratory event, there is no time limit on your table but do let us know if you can no longer attend or will be drastically late. If for whatever reason you need to cancel your reservation please do so 48 hours in advance by emailing info@ahmasdumplings.co.uk. We may not be able to give refunds if cancellations are received after this deadline.

Dietary Requirements: Being a small kitchen, we can not guarantee traces of allergens. It is essential that we are notified of any allergies or specific dietary requirements prior to your visit to ensure we can cater for you appropriately.
