Lunar New Year pop up @The Scrandit

Next up! We were blown away by the support for our last pop-up at The Farm so now we’re celebrating the Lunar New Year in style at The Scrandit on Tuesday 13th February with a ticketed event and a whole new menu for your mind, body and soul.

As always – book here.

If you’ve not had the chance to visit before it’s beautiful venue right in the heart of Bristol’s on Christmas Steps where you can expect a night of communal dining, excellent wines and sparkling service.

It’s also the night before Valentines so might be the right time to book a table for that special someone.

Look forward to seeing some of you there – thank you for your continued enjoyment and appreciation!

Anita’s Cantonese chicken soup recipe is in ‘These Delicious Things’

Ah Ma’s founder, Anita Cheung, has been featured alongside more than 100 of the UK’s top chefs and food writers in the new charity cookbook ‘These Delicious Things’. The book features nostalgic recipes from Raymond Blanc, Nigella Lawson, Jamie Oliver as well as our very own Anita, whose entry is a regular at the family dinner table – nourishing Cantonese-style chicken soup. Scroll down to find the recipe!

All profits from the book’s sales will be donated to Magic Breakfast, a charity that feeds breakfasts to disadvantaged kids in the UK so that they are not too hungry to learn in school. Each book sold will unlock up to 18 nutritious breakfasts for children who might otherwise start their day too hungry to learn, and would make an ideal Christmas present for a special someone.

Alongside Anita’s delicious Cantonese Healing Chicken Soup, ‘These Delicious Things’ has a recipe for everyone, with well-loved favourites and new, exciting recipes. The book is now available in all major bookstores.
